Parishioners of the Nativity of the Theotokos Church in Khmelnytskyi collected about 500 kg of food for the brethren and displaced people staying at the UOC monastery in Sviatohirsk.

The Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos Parish of the UOC Khmelnytskyi Eparchy delivered humanitarian aid to the brethren of the Holy Dormition Sviatohirsk Lavra and displaced people currently sheltering at the monastery. The parish reported this on its Telegram channel on September 17, 2026.

The aid drive was held with the blessing of Metropolitan Viktor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv. Clergy, parishioners, and benefactors took part, donating money and nonperishable food.

The supplies included various grains, flour, pasta, cooking oil, canned fish, homemade preserves, tea, cookies, halva, and other sweets. The total weight of the collected aid was nearly 500 kg.

The parish thanked everyone who donated money and food and helped collect, pack, and deliver the supplies.

As the UOJ reported, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy previously delivered medical supplies to the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
