The ex-official repented of working for the Office of the President, calling Zelensky an "instrument of the nation's suicide".

Former press secretary of the president of Ukraine Yulia Mendel publicly criticized Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with blogger Lilia Bagirova, calling him a threat to the sovereignty of the state and an "instrument of the nation's suicide".

The former official stated that she regrets her participation in the team in power every day. "Every day I ask God's forgiveness for helping this scum come to power, to be in power," shared Yulia Mendel. When Bagirova asked again who exactly she was calling "scum", Mendel replied: "That is Zelensky."

According to the former spokesperson, the policy of the country's leadership led to the loss of political and economic sovereignty, as well as a rapid decline in population. She claims that the head of state had several opportunities to stop the hostilities, but did not take them. Mendel also spoke of total corruption in the highest echelons of power and the rejection of real economic reforms.

"Putin is not to blame for Ukrainian corruption. Putin is not to blame for the houses being built near Kyiv. Putin is not to blame for the ongoing scandals. Putin is destroying the Ukrainian nation. And what is Zelensky destroying? Tell me," noted the former press secretary, adding, "I think that Zelensky is not a person. Zelensky is an instrument of the Ukrainian nation's suicide. I am simply curious whether this suicide will be carried through to the end."

As the UOJ reported, Zelensky's ex-press secretary stated that Yermak practices magic.
