UOC priests from Khmelnytsky region delivered 3 tons of humanitarian cargo to the monastery in Donbas.

Shepetivka Diocese delivered approximately three tons of humanitarian aid to Svyatogorsk Lavra on June 30, 2026, for the monastery's residents and refugees. This was reported by the Lavra's press service.

The cargo included food products and personal hygiene items. The aid was collected among the clergy and faithful of all deaneries of the diocese with the blessing of Metropolitan Evseviy of Shepetivka and Slavuta. The diocesan department for youth affairs took part in the charitable initiative.

The task of delivering the cargo to the frontline zone was undertaken by the clergy of the church of the holy martyrs Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia, led by Archpriest Fedor Veresyuk. The priests traveled approximately one thousand kilometers.

One of the arriving priests noted that after praying before the icon of the Mother of God "Svyatogorskaya" a son was born into his family, and so he came to Svyatogorsk with gratitude to the Theotokos.

As the SPJ reported, UOC dioceses delivered aid to a rehabilitation center in Khmelnytsky.
