The procession from the Brailiv Monastery to the Pochaiv Lavra will not take place due to martial law.

In the Vinnytsia region, the traditional religious procession from the Brailiv Monastery to the Pochaiv Lavra has been cancelled. The prayer procession of the faithful, which was due to begin on August 19, will not take place because of martial law, reports the Vinnytsia Eparchy.

The Vinnytsia Region State Administration issued an order prohibiting the procession as part of wartime measures. The eparchy called on Orthodox believers to approach the forced circumstances with understanding and responsibility.

On the Feast day of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the clergy will celebrate only the festal Divine Liturgy at the Brailiv Monastery.

As the UOJ reported, the authorities banned the UOC religious procession in Demydivka.
