Lotysh: I called on the monks of the Lavra to turn toward world Orthodoxy
Avraamiy Lotysh demanded "courage" from the brotherhood of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to join the OCU.
"OCU Lavra Vicar" Avraamiy Lotysh, in an interview with TSN, called on the UOC brotherhood at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra to turn "toward holy world ecumenical Orthodoxy."
"My position has always been clear and defined: to seek dialogue, to unite, and to call on them nonetheless to turn toward holy world ecumenical Orthodoxy," Lotysh stated.
According to him, he does not intend to coerce the brotherhood into transferring, leaving each person the right to choose; however, he demanded "courage" from the monastery's residents to join the OCU.
As the UOJ reported, the OCU welcomes the construction of a pantheon at the Lavra.
