OCU Puzzled Over How "Idiot Trump" Became US President
An OCU cleric, known for organizing seizures of UOC churches, publicly insulted US President Trump.
OCU “priest” Roman Hryshchuk, known for organizing seizures of UOC churches in Bukovyna, posted a Facebook publication in which he called US President Trump an “idiot”.
According to him, “no one has any doubts anymore that Trump is an idiot.”
“One could endlessly discuss his daily demonstrations of idiocy, his absurd behavior, his economic illiteracy, his inability to finish a thought, his limited vocabulary, his narcissism, his mental disorders, his poor memory and cognitive decline as signs of dementia, his back-and-forth wavering that earned him the nickname TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out). But now everyone is asking: how did this idiot become President of the United States?” – wonders the holder of the golden award cross from Serhiy Dumenko.
Hryshchuk suggests looking for the answer in the explanations of the 16th-century Italian politician and philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli, who, according to him, believed that “society is to blame when idiots come to power.” The OCU cleric considers Trump an incompetent leader who has therefore surrounded himself with people of mediocre intellectual abilities. Whom exactly he had in mind, Hryshchuk did not specify.
“This is not slander against Trump – it is a reality that has repeated itself many times throughout history. And when crises arise, such Trumpist-Putinist systems cannot withstand them,” Hryshchuk stated, expressing regret that American society is “inclined again and again to choose exactly such people.”
“The fact that there is an idiot at the top of power in the United States – Trump is not to blame for that,” Hryshchuk concluded.
The UOJ previously reported that Dumenko awarded a cleric who conducted fake transitions and church seizures.
