Trump’s spiritual advisor compares his path to Christ’s earthly journey
Paula White predicted that the U.S. president would achieve total victory over evil through the power of Christ’s Resurrection.
Donald Trump’s spiritual advisor, Paula White, drew direct parallels between the politician’s fate and the biblical story during an Easter event at the White House. In a video circulated by the media, the preacher stressed that no one had paid so high a price for his people as the current U.S. president.
“You were betrayed and arrested and falsely accused. It's a familiar pattern that our Lord and Savior showed us,” White said, addressing Trump. She added that just as Christ conquered death and hell on the third day, so Trump “rose” after every attempt to destroy him. In her view, God is using him "to defeat evil, to restore families, to awaken the Church, to harvest the nations, and to bring a worldwide revival."
During her remarks, the preacher also conveyed words which she said the Lord had revealed to her for Trump: “Because of Jesus's victory in Resurrection, you will be victorious in all that you put your hands to.”
At the close of the event, a group of pastors prayed over Trump with the laying on of hands, asking God to grant him wisdom and long life.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that evangelist Graham had explained to Trump exactly how he could get to heaven.
