Pastors pray with Trump at White House for USA and its military
U.S. religious leaders asked God to strengthen the president and protect American service members.
A collective prayer with around 20 pastors from different states took place in the Oval Office of the White House. The religious leaders appealed to God to grant Donald Trump the strength necessary to govern the country.
On the video recording published by presidential aide Dan Scavino, participants are seen asking for grace for the nation and protection for U.S. troops. The pastors prayed in a special way for the safety of those serving in the country’s Armed Forces.
Notably, pastor-evangelist Mark Burns – often portrayed in Ukraine as Trump’s “personal spiritual adviser” and “chief pastor” – was not present.
