Ukrainian journalist tells how he insulted monks in Sviatogorsk Lavra
The journalist of the Ukrainian Witness project boasted of how he obscenely insulted the monastics of the Sviatogorsk Lavra.
On September 28, 2022, Ukrainian journalist Yevhen Nazarenko, who works for the Ukrainian Witness, spoke about visiting the Sviatogorsk Lavra, where, according to him, “Russian priests serve.” He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to Nazarenko, in response to the question of the monk, whether he has a blessing, he obscenely replied that he "did not care."
When the abbot said that he couldn’t film in the Lavra without permission, the journalist obscenely stated that permissions “are issued by the airborne assault troops, and this is me.” At the same time, he addressed the clergy rather informally.
“These priests should have been kicked out a long time ago and our Lavra should be freed from their clutches,” Nazarenko summed up. His fellow thinkers supported him in the comments.
Previously, Nazarenko worked on ICTV, 1 + 1, 2 + 2 and Channel 24 TV channels.
As the UOJ wrote, at the “liturgy” of the OCU, the “priests” sang a song about a stork in the altar.
