Warming centers opened at UOC churches of Khmelnytskyi Eparchy
At the warming centers hosted by UOC churches in Khmelnytskyi, anyone can warm up, have hot tea, and charge their phones.
On January 20, 2026, amid the cold spell, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church began operating warming centers for everyone in need of warmth and assistance. This was reported by the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC.
At these warming centers, anyone can come in to warm up and rest in a calm, heated space. If needed, visitors are also given the opportunity to charge mobile phones and other devices using generators installed at the churches.
The warming centers are open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the following addresses in Khmelnytskyi:
St. Nicholas Cathedral – 2 Svobody Street
Cathedral of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos – 15a Vaiser Street
St. Panteleimon Church – 107/1 Proskurivska Street
Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior – 2/3 Molodizhna Street
Church of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors – 38 Narodnoi Voli Street
The warming centers are open to everyone. The clergy urge city residents not to remain out in the cold, and, if necessary, to come to the churches, where they are always ready to help with warmth, a word of support, and prayer.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that warming centers were opened at UOC churches in the Rivne Eparchy.
