The Vinnytsia Eparchy of the UOC has summed up the results of its charitable work for 2025. As the eparchy press service reports, more than UAH 5.5 million was allocated to social and humanitarian aid.

Throughout the year, the eparchy focused primarily on supporting socially vulnerable groups – nursing homes, hospices, orphanages, low-income families, displaced persons, and the families of fallen servicemen. The total volume of assistance exceeded UAH 4.1 million and included food, medicines, hygiene supplies, and household goods. Charitable fairs, cultural and educational events, and various outreach initiatives were also held on a regular basis.

A separate area of work was assistance to Ukrainian servicemen. In 2025, the Vinnytsia Eparchy delivered more than 19 tons of food, medicines, essential supplies, and technical equipment for the needs of the military. Financial support for servicemen and their families exceeded UAH 1.37 million.

The clergy also served prayer services for peace, conducted funeral services for the fallen, and provided pastoral care to wounded soldiers and their relatives.

As the UOJ previously reported, a reliquary with the relics of St. Spyridon of Trimythous was brought to the Vinnytsia Eparchy.
