Motor procession with Kasperiv Icon held in Khmelnytskyi
Metropolitan Victor of Khmelnytskyi and the city’s clergy conducted a cross procession around Khmelnytskyi.
On 26 November 2025, a motor procession with the wonderworking Kasperiv Icon of the Mother of God took place in Khmelnytskyi.
The procession followed the Divine Liturgy at the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi, the diocesan Telegram channel reported.
Metropolitan Victor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv, accompanied by the diocesan secretary, Archpriest Oleksandr Rybchynskyi, together with clergy and laity, traveled around the city with the Kasperiv Icon of the Mother of God, reading an akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos along the way.
At the entrances to Khmelnytskyi from all four sides, Metropolitan Victor sprinkled the roadside crosses with holy water and blessed the city and its residents with the Kasperiv Icon.
During the hour-long procession, the archpastor and the clergy offered special prayers for the protection of Khmelnytskyi and its inhabitants from enemy shelling and destruction.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the UOC Metropolitan celebrated the Liturgy in an adapted premises in Khmelnytskyi.
