A radical publicly acknowledged the involvement of his organization in exerting pressure on UOC communities and supporting forcible "transitions" to the OCU in the Cherkasy region.

The leader of the organization "Bratstvo" ("Brotherhood") and former head of UNA-UNSO Dmytro Korchynsky publicly acknowledged his involvement in the transfer and forcible seizure of Ukrainian Orthodox Church temples in Cherkasy and the village of Moshny. He wrote about this on November 20, 2025, on his Facebook page, raising claims against the head of the Cherkasy Eparchy of the OCU.

In his post, Korchynskyi criticized the "metropolitan" of Cherkasy and Chyhyryn, Ioan, whom he accused of "weakness" and "opposition" to the "transfers" of UOC parishes in favor of the OCU. At the same time, he directly stated that "Bratstvo is actively involved in transferring temples under the jurisdiction of the OCU, particularly temples in Cherkasy and Moshny," actually confirming his group's involvement in the seizures of UOC temples.

According to Korchynsky, the resistance to the "transition" of the temple in Moshny by the OCU hierarch allegedly raised "suspicions of agreements with the UOC." He lamented that the hierarch removed from service a cleric who "organized and inspired" activists for raiding.

The extremist also emphasized that the metropolitan "hates Bratstvo" and "calls its members terrorists," among whom, according to Korchynsky, many serve in the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.

In conclusion, Korchynskyi suggested that the parishioners of the OCU in the Cherkasy region "pay attention" to the actions of the metropolitan and even "ask him to go to rest" in a monastery, which looks like pressure.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier radical Korchynsky stated that he possesses a methodology for seizing UOC temples.
