Sviatohirsk Lavra receives 20 tons of humanitarian aid from UOC Khmelnytskyi Eparchy
The humanitarian cargo includes food, drinking water, and hygiene products.
On November 20, 2025, about 20 tons of humanitarian aid were sent to the Sviatohirsk Lavra, collected by the faithful from all parishes of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC. This was reported by the eparchial press service.
Before sending the humanitarian cargo from the territory of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi, Metropolitan Viktor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv read a prayer for blessing the journey and sprinkled the cargo and vehicle with holy water.
The eparchy reports that the humanitarian cargo includes food, drinking water, and hygiene products. It is accompanied to the monastery by Archpriest Volodymyr Horenko.
"Metropolitan Viktor and the clergy of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy express their sincere gratitude to our faithful and all people of goodwill who joined this charitable endeavor," the message states.
The eparchy reports that currently, more than a hundred monks and about 200 war-affected people in need of assistance reside in the monastery.
As reported by the UOJ, on November 6, humanitarian aid was brought to the Sviatohirsk Lavra from the Kharkiv Eparchy of the UOC.
