During his flight to Israel, the U.S. President admitted he is uncertain about his salvation, though he earlier said that ending the war in Ukraine would “count" in heaven.

On October 10, 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking aboard Air Force One, confessed that he doubts his salvation and is not sure he would be able "to make it heaven."

People magazine reported that Trump’s words came in response to a question from a Fox News journalist who asked whether ending the war between Russia and Ukraine might help him earn a place in heaven.

Earlier, Trump had said he hoped to bring an end to the conflict in Ukraine and that this effort would count in heaven. However, the American leader now admitted that he does not think "there's anything going to get me in heaven."

“I really don't. I think I'm not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One," he continued. "I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make heaven, but I've made life a lot better for a lot of people,” Trump said, adding that if the 2020 election had not been “rigged,” millions more lives would have been saved.

The U.S. President was traveling to Israel, where newly released hostages are being welcomed home. The first seven have already arrived in the country.

In honor of Trump’s visit, Israeli rabbis are preparing a blessing prayer. In Tel Aviv, the message “Thank you!” appeared written in the sand, visible from his plane, while in Jerusalem billboards have been erected bearing his portrait and the slogan “Cyrus the Great Lives!” The Israeli government also plans to award the American president a medal.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that U.S. President Donald Trump announced the achievement of an agreement between Israel and Hamas.
