The performance was staged in front of the Dormition Cathedral.

The Lavra Reserve proudly announced the deployment of the first 600 meters of the world's largest patchwork quilt at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. It is called "Patchwork of Victory".

The idea of creating the quilt belongs to Australian artist Jeannette McLaughlin, and it is being sewn by craftswomen from 25 countries. By the end of next summer, the size of the quilt is expected to reach 1100 meters. McLaughlin hopes that the quilt will be entered into the Book of Records of Ukraine and an application will be submitted to the Guinness Book of Records.

It is not reported why the quilt was brought specifically to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the reserve organized a song and dance concert at the Lavra's Refectory Church.
