Metropolitan Pimen met with the rectors and parishioners of the affected parishes of the Ostroh and Hoshcha districts.

Metropolitan Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh made an archpastoral visit to the parishes of the Ostroh and Goshcha districts, whose churches suffered from interfaith conflicts. This was reported by the press service of the Rivne Eparchy of the UOC.

On September 7, 2025, the Metropolitan visited several religious communities whose churches were taken by representatives of the OCU. The hierarch visited the Church of the Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian in the village of Rozvazh, the Ascension Church in the village of Mohylyany, as well as the Ascension parish in the village of Buhryn.

In each community, Metropolitan Pimen met with the rectors and parishioners, listened to their concerns, and shared words of spiritual support. The Vladyka urged the faithful to remain loyal to Christ despite the trials.

"The strength of the Church is in faith, unity, and prayer. Despite all difficulties, the Lord never abandons His children," emphasized the archpastor during meetings with the affected communities.

The visit of Metropolitan Pimen became an important spiritual support for the faithful who found themselves in a difficult situation due to conflicts with the OCU. The Vladyka expressed sympathy to the affected and assured them of the eparchy's prayerful support.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Ascension community of the UOC in Buhryn won two court cases.
