OCU rep: People are indifferent, no expectations of mass transfers from UOC
"Hierarch" Nestor Pysyk lamented that even dozens of transfers to the OCU are a "drop" Ukraine-wide.
"Archbishop" of the OCU Nestor Pysyk does not expect mass transfers from the UOC because of the "indifference" of the people. He said this in an interview with the resource "TeNews".
The Ternopil “hierarch” found it difficult to answer the question when one can expect the activation of the process of transfers to the OCU, which has recently practically calmed down, but admitted that it is unlikely to be soon.
“Considering the indifference of a large part of the people, it’s not soon,” explained Pysyk and complained that “even dozens of transfers in individual eparchies are a drop Ukraine-wide.”
Earlier, the head of the OCU Epiphany announced a "large-scale wave of transitions".
The UOJ also wrote that Nestor Pysyk was a guest from the OCU at the Phanar celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the accession of Patriarch Bartholomew to the Patriarchal Throne. The "hierarch" did not take part in the service.
