Kniazhytsky preoccupied with crosses in Verkhovna Rada presidium
The lobbyist of the law banning the UOC got alarmed after discovering Orthodox crosses in Parliament.
MP from the European Solidarity party, Mykola Kniazhytsky, found crosses in the Verkhovna Rada. As the MP and one of the initiators of the adoption of law No. 8371 wrote on his Facebook page, he is concerned that the presidium and the president's seat in Parliament might have been consecrated by UOC priests.
"Friends, help me figure this out. We are fighting here for the ban of the Russian Church. And we found strange crosses in the presidium and at the president's place. The inscriptions are in Old Church Slavonic, and the cross is of a form typical for the Russian Church. So who consecrated the presidium? Maybe I'm mistaken?" he addressed his followers.
As reported by the UOJ, Mykola Kniazhytsky stated that the State Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience is involved in blocking the anti-church bill 8371.
