Greek hierarch: 80% of crimes against humanity are committed by the papacy
Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus believes that the Roman Catholic Church ceased to be a Church after separating from Orthodoxy in 1054.
Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus, a hierarch of the Orthodox Church of Greece, has stated that the overwhelming majority of crimes against humanity are committed by "the papacy."
The Greek publication Romfea published a statement from Metropolitan Seraphim, in which he asserts that after breaking unity with Orthodoxy in 1054, the Roman Catholic Church "ceased to be a Church and turned into a religious community inspired by barbarians and Frankish heretics, incorporating heretical elements and paganism."
According to him, "the Papacy clearly and historically expresses the global democratic agenda of Frankism, which it has implemented throughout history."
"Within this anti-Christian framework, a monstrous political and social structure was created under a religious guise, which has offered (and continues to offer) humanity nothing but negative contributions! No contributions to civilization!" declared Metropolitan Seraphim.
He emphasized that this "structure under a religious guise" is responsible for "the gravest, most inhumane, and horrifying crimes against humanity."
"Without exaggeration, it can be said that 80% of the most horrific crimes in history have been committed – and, unfortunately, continue to be committed (in secret) – by the Papacy!" Metropolitan Seraphim stated.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that, according to Metropolitan Seraphim of Piraeus, war will continue until the end of history.
