Ukrainian diplomats participate in pride march in Dublin, Ireland
The Ukrainian Ambassador personally greeted the head of the Irish government at the LGBT+ march.
Staff of the Embassy of Ukraine in Ireland took part in the pride march in Dublin on June 27, 2026. As reported on the Embassy's Facebook page, the diplomats reaffirmed Ukraine's commitment to "European values" and support for the LGBT community.
Together with colleagues from other foreign missions, the Ukrainian delegates expressed solidarity with the principles of "equality and non-discrimination." During the march, the Ukrainian Ambassador personally greeted the head of the Irish government, who also supported the event by his attending.
The official statement from the diplomatic mission indicated that Ukraine fully shares Western views on freedom and respect for "diversity." According to the diplomats, participation in the march was an opportunity to demonstrate support for a society where everyone has the right to self-expression.
As the UOJ reported, an LGBT publication was found in the ATB retail chain in the toys section.
