On the feast day of Venerable Onuphrius the Great, June 25, 2026, the Primate of the UOC led the Divine Liturgy in the main cathedral of the monastery. He was co-served by permanent members of the Holy Synod, hierarchs, and clergy.

Abbesses and nuns of monasteries, as well as numerous faithful, prayed during the service. The choir of the Kyiv Theological Academy performed the hymns. During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, for protection from the enemy, for assistance to those in need, for the release of prisoners, the healing of the sick, and support for people who have lost their homes.

After the dismissal, a polychronion was proclaimed for His Beatitude. Metropolitan Serhiy of Ternopil and Kremenets delivered a congratulatory address on behalf of the Holy Synod, the episcopate, the clergy, the monastics, and all the faithful of the UOC.

He noted the Primate's many years of service and his care for preserving canonical order and ecclesial unity, emphasizing that His Beatitude Onuphrius has instructed the faithful to keep the Orthodox faith since his youth. His contribution to the development of spiritual life, missionary, social, and youth ministry was also highlighted.

According to Metropolitan Serhiy, the Primate's voice consistently calls to faith, hope, repentance, and peace. In conclusion, he wished His Beatitude Onuphrius good health and God's help in his continued ministry.

The Primate expressed gratitude for the congratulations and addressed the faithful with a word in which he recalled the ascetic feat of Venerable Onuphrius the Great, calling each person to inner prayer and repentance.
