Head of the Czech Church congratulates His Beatitude Onufriy on his name day
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia wished the Primate of the UOC on his Name Day strength and God's help in his ministry.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia, His Beatitude Metropolitan Rostislav, congratulated His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Onufriy on his name day. This was reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
In the congratulatory letter dated June 25, 2026, Metropolitan Rostislav wished the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church the peace of Christ, strength of soul and body, and the gracious help of the Holy Spirit in his Primatial ministry.
«In our prayers we unceasingly ask the merciful God to grant You the peace of Christ, strength of soul and body, and the gracious help of the Holy Spirit in Your lofty Primatial ministry for the benefit of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church», – the congratulation reads.
The Primate of the Orthodox Church of the Czech Lands and Slovakia also wished His Beatitude good health, many years of life, and abundant God's help in all his labors and endeavors.
«May the intercession of our venerable father Onufriy the Great move the All-Bountiful Lord to preserve You in good health for many blessed years, sending down upon You His abundant mercy in all Your labors and endeavors!» – noted Metropolitan Rostislav.
As the UOJ reported, on June 25, 2026, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church celebrates the name day of its Primate — His Beatitude Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Onufriy.
