The diocesan charity center “Blaho” organized the “There Are No Other People’s Children” event outside the St. Macarius Cathedral.

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, a large-scale charity fair took place on the grounds of the St. Macarius Cathedral in Poltava, reports the Poltava Eparchy.

The event was organized by members of the volunteer center “Blaho,” which operates under the Department of Charity and Social Ministry of the Poltava Eparchy. Parishioners of the cathedral and guests of the city were able to purchase handmade items and baked goods, thus making their contribution to the work of mercy.

All funds raised will be directed by volunteers toward purchasing humanitarian assistance for children’s institutions and care facilities for children who are without parental care or in difficult life situations.

The eparchy expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who joined this initiative by supporting the fair with their donations, personal effort, and compassion.

As the UOJ reported, a UOC community held a charity festival in Kropyvnytskyi.
