His Beatitude officiates at all-night vigil at Chernivtsi cathedral
More than a thousand believers of the UOC prayed together with the Primate at the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Chernivtsi.
On April 18, 2026, on the eve of the second week after Pascha (Thomas Week), His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine celebrated the all-night vigil at the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Chernivtsi. More than a thousand faithful came to pray together with the Archpastor in the main church of Bukovyna.
The Primate was concelebrated by Metropolitan Meletiy of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna, Metropolitan Longin of Bancheny, Metropolitan Eusebiy of Shepetivka and Slavuta, Archbishops Benjamin of Khotyn, Lavr of Irpin, Mark of Borodianka, Siluan of Hertsa, and Bishops Cleopa of Novoselytsia and Job of Kitsman.
The clergy of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy and guests in holy orders also prayed during the Divine service.
During the polyeleos, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry awarded the key keeper of the Holy Spirit Cathedral with an order of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The Primate congratulated the faithful on the Bright Feast of Pascha.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that His Beatitude celebrated the Liturgy at the St. Florus Convent on Bright Monday.
