In Kyiv, staff of the UOC Synodal Department visited the Novobilychi neuropsychiatric care home, greeted the residents on Pascha, and delivered kulichi, fruit, and other gifts.

On April 16, 2026, staff of the Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Affairs of the UOC visited the Novobilychi neuropsychiatric care home for men in Kyiv, congratulated its residents on Pascha, and brought them gifts, the Telegram channel of the UOC Social Department reported.

About 340 people live at the facility – men with disabilities, congenital conditions, and neuropsychiatric disorders who require constant assistance and care.

The delegation was led by Archpriest Andrii Dvorovyi, chairman of the Department for Social Ministry and Charity of the Kyiv Eparchy. Staff members of the Social Department greeted the residents with the feast of Christ’s Resurrection and presented each of them with a Paschal kulich, as well as fruit and juice purchased with the support of benefactors.

A festive program with animators was also organized for the residents, becoming a special part of the Paschal visit.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that UOC clergy delivered Paschal gifts to the Lukianivka pre-trial detention center.
