No public order violations reported during Pascha, National Police say
A National Police spokesperson thanked Ukrainians for their responsible approach to the celebration of Pascha.
The celebration of Christ’s Resurrection in Ukraine in 2026 passed in a calm atmosphere, with law enforcement recording no violations of public order. This was stated by National Police spokesperson Yuliia Hirdvilis in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the agency, police units, together with other emergency services, provided heightened security near all locations where festal services were held. Hirdvilis said the festive days passed without incident and thanked Ukrainians for their conscientious behavior.
Law enforcement officials stressed that the absence of violations amid the current challenges was the result of the faithful’s responsible attitude toward security issues.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that police had urged Ukrainians not to attend the Paschal service.
