UOC communities of Khmelnytskyi Eparchy deliver aid for AFU
Parishes of the Khmelnytskyi District Deanery collected long-shelf-life food and donations which, through a charitable foundation, were sent to Ukrainian servicemen.
On February 18, 2026, religious communities of the Khmelnytskyi District Deanery of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church delivered food supplies and financial aid for the needs of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy of the UOC.
Parishes from a number of localities in the district joined the charitable initiative. In the villages of Stufchyntsi and Shpychyntsi, the rector, Archpriest Dmytro Aleksiiev, delivered instant food. The parish of the village of Tyranivka also sent a monetary donation.
In Davydkivtsi, Archimandrite Dionysiy (Tarasevych) collected instant food and tea. The Holy Michael parish in the village of Volytsia transferred financial assistance. In Lisovi Hrynivtsi, faithful brought instant food, tea, and cookies; in Cherepivka – long-shelf-life food.
In the village of Ostashky, sweets, instant food, and a donation were collected. The parish of the village of Raikivtsi sent canned meat, pasta, and instant food.
The collected aid was handed over to the charitable organization “God Is With Us” for further delivery to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that AFU servicemen expressed gratitude to the Mukachevo Eparchy for humanitarian assistance.
