The Mukachevo Eparchy delivered humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian defenders; the servicemen emphasized the importance of both spiritual and material support.

On February 13, 2026, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine expressed gratitude to the Mukachevo Eparchy for another delivered shipment of humanitarian aid, according to a post on the Facebook page of the eparchy’s ruling hierarch.

The aid was organized with the blessing of Metropolitan Theodosiy of Mukachevo and Uzhhorod. The shipment included warm clothing, medical supplies, hand warmers, power banks, and other items needed for service.

The servicemen thanked the eparchy’s clergy and all the faithful who took part in fundraising and in preparing the assistance. They noted that such support matters not only materially, but also as a witness of unity and care.

The post underscores that the defenders also highlighted the Church’s constant attention, calling it a sign of love, support, and shared prayer in a difficult time for the country.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that a priest of the Mukachevo Eparchy received a letter of appreciation from AFU.
