Bonchuk depicted skeleton athlete Heraskevych's helmet with a halo.

Ivano-Frankivsk artist Roman Bonchuk, who gained fame thanks to a giant diorama on the theme of Euromaidan (150x3 m), painted a new picture, which he titled "Holy Helmet of Dignity and Freedom". In it, Bonchuk depicted Ukrainian skeletist Vladyslav Heraskevych, who holds a helmet in his hands. Around the helmet, the artist painted a halo, which is usually depicted around the heads of saints in iconography.

Bonchuk titled his work "Holy Helmet of Dignity and Freedom" and valued it at $350. Also in the artist's portfolio is Christ with a crown of thorns in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Zelensky gave Pope Francis an "icon" with emptiness instead of the Christ Child.
