The first Liturgy will be held at the Church of St. Amphilochius of Pochaiv at the hermitage of Saint Anna the Righteous.

On January 18, 2026, in the village of Onyshkivtsi, Rivne region, the first festive Divine service will be held in the newly built church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. As reported on the Telegram channel dzereloSvAnnu, the Divine Liturgy will begin at 8:30.

The new church is consecrated in honor of Saint Amphilochius of Pochaiv and will become a place of first communal prayer for believers after the completion of construction. The parish notes that this day is a special and blessed event, which parishioners have approached with faith, patience and hope for the intercession of the great saint of God.

The message emphasizes that through the prayers of Saint Amphilochius, believers ask the Lord for peace, healing and spiritual comfort for all who cross the threshold of the new church.

The parish invites everyone who wishes to share the joy of communal prayer and become participants in this historic event in the parish's life.

As the UOJ wrote, a new UOC church of St. Basil the Great was consecrated in Krasnoilsk, Bukovyna.
