Over 40% of сhildren's shows on Netflix feature LGBT content, study finds
The report by the organization "Concerned Women for America" shows that Netflix is an active driver of the LGBT agenda.
December 8, 2025, the Washington-based Christian conservative advocacy group Concerned Women for America (CWA) published a study on Netflix programs categorized as "suitable for children", reports The Christian Post. The report states that out of 326 analyzed children's TV shows and series, 41% of TV-Y7-rated series feature LGBT content.
"We knew that Netflix aired this kind of programming, but our study quantifies how many children's programs are subverted by LBGTQ messaging and themes. These are shocking numbers, and most parents are unaware," stated the CWA president Penny Nance.
In 2023, 14 out of 23 children's TV shows on Netflix contained LGBT themes. Netflix is also rebooting old series and including same-sex and transgender characters.
Among Generation Z, the number of people identifying as gay, transgender, or non-binary is increasing: from 11% in 2017 to more than 20% in 2023. Meanwhile, among adults, less than 10% belong to this group.
Researchers note that this trend is associated with the surge of LGBT content in children's media, "which emerged during the formative years of Generation Z and suggests the possibility of a closed feedback loop, where media consumed by children reflect and then reinforce their acceptance of LGBTQ+ identity".
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the EU сuts funding for Catholic NGO for non-compliance with LGBT criteria.
