Charity meals held for the needy in Poltava Eparchy
The eparchy noted that the Sunday charity meals have become a regular source of support for parishioners and the needy, uniting the community and helping those in difficult circumstances.
On December 7, 2025, churches and monasteries of the Poltava Eparchy of the UOC held charity meals for parishioners and anyone in need following the Divine Liturgy, the Poltava Eparchy’s press service reported.
According to the eparchy, parish volunteers together with clergy distributed prepared food to all who required assistance.
It is noted that these meals take place regularly: they are organized every Sunday after the Divine Liturgy.
The eparchy emphasizes that such initiatives aim to support those in need and strengthen community ties within the church environment.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy sent 20 tons of food to the Kyiv Theological Schools.
