In Poland, OCU cleric accused of UPA propaganda and urged to leave country
The Poles are distributing leaflets accusing the OCU of glorifying Bandera.
Members of the OCU community in Poznan, who conduct their "services" in the local Jesuit church, displayed leaflets that they found on their cars. In them, members of the OCU, led by "priest" Ivan Dziuba, are accused of sympathizing with the UPA and are urged to leave the country.
"There is no place for Banderites in the church! Glorifying the murderers from the OUN-UPA is a slap in the face to the families of the victims! Repent for these terrible sins! Burn the red-and-black flags that insult the memory of the victims of Ukrainian nationalists! Fall to your knees and ask for forgiveness! UPA supporter priest Ivan Dziuba. Get out of Poland!" the text reads.
The leaflet also depicts Bandera in Nazi uniform with his slogan: "The death of one Pole is a meter of free Ukraine".
Photos of the leaflets were posted on the TG-channel ANDRIYUK ONLINE, with a comment that this is "the work of Russian agents in Poland".
"Unfortunately, not all Poles positively perceived the fact that Orthodox rites are held in a Catholic church. This is especially felt now," wrote an OCU parishioner who found the leaflet. "My husband and I did not expect this. It became scary. First of all, scary for the children, for the family. It's unclear what to expect from them next? Will they set houses on fire, kill, will they impale us?"
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that, according to Dumenko, the OCU is proud when they are called Banderites.
