The sisters of the Horodok St. Nicholas Convent presented the Orthodox singing tradition at an international forum.

From November 14 to 16, 2025, the 22nd International Review of Religious and Paraliturgical Songs was held in the Polish town of Siemiatycze. The choir of the Horodok St. Nicholas Women’s Monastery participated in this spiritual and artistic forum for the second time. The report was published by the Press Service of the Rivne Eparchy of the UOC.

The festival program featured 27 choirs and ensembles from Warsaw, Ukraine, and various regions of Podlasie. According to the sisters, all three days of the event took place in a prayerful and inspiring atmosphere and became an important spiritual experience.

The forum was organized by the Deanery Institute of Orthodox Culture in Siemiatycze with the support of local self-government bodies. Thanks to many years of cooperation, the festival remains a significant platform for the exchange of traditions and generations.

The monastery emphasizes that participating in this international event was an opportunity once again to testify to the value of the Orthodox singing tradition as a living expression of faith and prayer.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the UOC would hold a charitable initiative for children for the St. Nicholas feast.
