The event became part of the regular meals that the Church organizes for the homeless, displaced persons, and elderly people in difficult circumstances.

On November 14, in Kyiv, employees of the Social Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church organized a charitable meal for those in need. This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the UOC Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Issues. According to the department, about 150 people received aid.

The event took place at the train station square and was another in a series of regular meals that the Church conducts for the homeless, displaced persons, and pensioners who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.

This time, guests were treated to hot borscht, pilaf, salad, sausages, sweets, and warm tea. Volunteers emphasize that such events help not only to feed people but also to support them with attention and care.

The Synodal Department notes that the number of those in need is growing, and the initiative continues thanks to the support of benefactors. Organizers called on all concerned to join in the assistance.

Details for support: 4246 0010 0436 1857 (with the note "for charitable meals").

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the UOC will hold a charitable event for children on St. Nicholas Day.
