Lviv region: Boryslav authorities to ban UOC from June 1

The deputies called the ban on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church a "historic decision."
In Boryslav, Lviv region, following Konotop and Brovary, officials decided to ban the UOC. A corresponding decision by the Boryslav city council was published on the administration's website and will come into force on June 1.
The document on the liquidation of the canonical Church says that "the use of the church premises for meetings and services is prohibited" and that "the procedure for the compulsory seizure of immovable assets into the municipal ownership of the Boryslav territorial community". It goes about the parish of the Intercession Church of the UOC.
The officials have already called the decision "historic”.
