Car pride parade held in Kharkiv

Homosexual activists decided that driving in cars would be safer.
On September 6, 2025, a car-based gay pride parade was held in Kharkiv, Suspilne reported. It involved 16 cars and 50 participants, accompanied by police cars and buses.
Performances by homosexual activists had been taking place in the city since August 30, with the car pride becoming the culmination of the events. Organizers stated that they chose the automobile format for safety reasons, as “Right Sector” members attempted to break through to them.
Participants demanded marriage equality from the authorities, held lectures on LGBTQ activism and the military, and raised funds for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the organizers, their aim is to “develop the country.”
“When soldiers or civilians return to Kharkiv, we want them to come back to a city of free people. And that is our main task while we are here,” the Kharkiv homosexual leaders said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a car-based pride parade would take place in Kharkiv.
