German RCC preparing document to introduce gender ideology in schools
Catholic bishops want to eliminate “irritation or concern over the diversity of sexual identities.”
In the Catholic Church of Germany, bishops are preparing a document aimed at “combating discrimination against homosexual and transgender students in schools,” reports Catholic News, citing pch24.pl.
“The document is being drafted by a special commission on school matters within the German Bishops’ Conference. Its work stems from decisions made during the Synodal Path – the reformist process within the Church in Germany that began in 2019. As part of the Synodal Path, full normalization of homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism was proposed,” the article states.
Catholic reformers conducted a survey of students, teachers, and parents regarding discrimination against homosexual, bisexual, or transgender individuals in schools and then “decided to take action.”
The document is being prepared by Bishop Heinrich Timmerevers, chair of the education commission. Its aim is to create a foundation for schools that “accept everyone,” so that there would no longer be any “irritation or concern over the diversity of sexual identities.” The document recommends introducing “gender-just language” in schools.
“The document is still being finalized. There has been criticism, but the documents of the Synodal Path contain clear recommendations: gender ideology must be accepted,” Catholic News concludes.
As previously reported by the UOJ, there have also been calls in Germany to introduce gender ideology into kindergartens.
