The blog authors suggest that the ban may be related to recently published materials dedicated to the criticism of female diaconate, Freemasonry, and gay parades.

Google has blocked access to the most-read Italian Catholic blog MiL-Messainlatino.it for allegedly violating the "hate speech policy". However, as reported on the website lanuovabq.it, the violations are not specified.

Since July 11, 2025, the blog has been inaccessible by decision of the Blogger platform, managed by Google.

The administrators received an email in which the Blogger team claims that the blog was flagged for review. Messainlatino.it stated that they would be filing an appeal.

"we can assume this has something to do with the fact that, in recent weeks, individual articles had already been removed (but then readmitted by Blogger.com itself, at our request). The articles included: the interview with Msgr. Strickland against the admission of women to the diaconate; a study by Professor Corrado Gnerre on the history of Freemasonry and its condemnation by the Church; the reference to the Church's official doctrine in reference to gay pride; and finally, a post from over ten years ago with a video of the founder of the Neocatechumenal movement," writes the MiL editorial staff in the statement published by Campari & de Maistre.

The administrators of the blocked platform emphasize that soon, due to such a policy, "if things start like this, no one can feel safe in expressing their own thoughts, even if these coincide with the official doctrine of the most widespread religion in the world (meaning the RCC. - Ed.)."

As reported by the UOJ, in the USA, a transgender swimmer was stripped of the championship.
