Islamists in Syria threaten Christians with violence

In Syria’s Hama province, an armed group attacked the Orthodox Church of Saint Elijah in the city of Kfarbou (Kfarabham).
According to local media, the incident caused a real shock among local residents and intensified the atmosphere of fear in the region.
According to eyewitnesses, the attackers not only broke into the church but also desecrated its walls with threats of an openly provocative nature. Among the inscriptions left on the walls was the phrase: "Your turn will come."
The attack caused panic among the Christian population and exposed the dire security situation in the region, where concerns about religious extremism and targeted intimidation of the Orthodox minority are already growing.
Law enforcement agencies have not yet reported the capture of the criminals. Local Christians are demanding an immediate investigation and state protection of religious sites.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Syria, terrorists killed 15 people in an Orthodox church.
