In Dubivtsi, OCU falsifies voting results on UOC parish transition
Media outlets have published the real meeting protocol.
In Dubivtsi, Bukovyna, representatives of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) held a territorial community meeting in the village club regarding the so-called "transfer" of the Dormition Church of the UOC to their jurisdiction. The Telegram channel "Dozor" published meeting protocols that contradict the claims made by the structure led by Epifaniy Dumenko.
It was noted that the organizers, including the controversial OCU cleric Hryshchuk, failed to prevent UOC believers from attending the gathering.
As a result, out of 115 registered attendees, 70 voted against joining the OCU and in favor of remaining within the UOC.
"Epifaniy’ thieves, according to eyewitnesses, simply fled, taking the lists of registered attendees with them. These lists are now being falsely presented as evidence of a unanimous vote for the transition to the OCU," the report states.
However, the parishioners of the church retained the official meeting protocols, which clearly show the real results. Journalists have published these documents.
As previously reported by the UOJ, parishioners of the St. Basil Church of the UOC in Podzakharychi, Bukovyna, have appealed to U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance regarding an impending assault on their church, allegedly planned by OCU representatives.
