After the service, prayers were read for the blessing of the crosses, which pilgrims traditionally bring on this day to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.

On August 15, 2024, on the feast day of the appearance of the Mother of God in the Valley of Jehoshaphat (Valley of Crosses) near the village of Golynchyntsi in the Vinnytsia region, Metropolitan Serhiy of Ternopil and Kremenets performed a festive Divine Liturgy, as reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia Eparchy.

Metropolitan Agapit of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Sharhorod, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Volodymyr-Volynskyi and Kovel, Metropolitan Roman of Konotop and Hlukhiv, Metropolitan Varsonofiy of Vinnytsia and Bar, Metropolitan Viktor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv, Archbishop Veniamin of Khotyn, Archbishop Serhiy of Tulchyn and Bratslav, Bishop Athanasius of Kamin-Kashyrskyi, and clergy from various eparchies concelebrated with the hierarch.

During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for peace in Ukrainian land and its defenders, deliverance from the enemy, blessings for all in need, and for all those who help them.

After the service, the clergy read prayers for the consecration of crosses, which pilgrims traditionally bring to the Valley of Jehoshaphat on this day.

As reported by the UOJ, a festive service was held at the St. Anna Convent in Bukovyna.
