Millions of hryvnias in financial aid and hundreds of tons of humanitarian assistance were provided during this period.

The Synodal Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) for Social and Humanitarian Issues reported on aid provided to Ukrainians over 1000 days of war. The report was published on the department's Telegram channel.

According to the report, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, continuous humanitarian and financial assistance has been provided to military personnel and military hospitals. This includes nearly 53 million UAH in financial aid, 157 vehicles, and almost 300 tons of humanitarian aid.

Throughout the year, regular collections and humanitarian trips to frontline cities and towns were conducted. In total, 170,000 tons of humanitarian aid have been distributed.

Financial assistance has also been directed toward supporting civilians affected by the war, including purchasing necessary items. In total, almost 123 million UAH has been allocated for humanitarian purposes.

The Church organizes charitable meals for those in need through its dioceses and charitable departments. Approximately 1.4 million hot meals have already been distributed. The department noted that this initiative is ongoing and will continue to be implemented by parishes and diocesan institutions.

Various types of aid are regularly distributed at parishes in the Kyiv region.

Specifically, the UOC Synodal Department for Social and Humanitarian Issues distributed 16,000 food packages to families of internally displaced persons and low-income individuals living in Kyiv.

Through the department’s efforts, more than 150 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the frontlines and frontline towns and villages.

As previously reported by the UOJ, on the 1000th day of the war, the UOC opened an exhibition dedicated to the Church's mission.
