The Odessa City Council has stated that the Transfiguration Cathedral of the UOC may collapse due to "the unstable condition of one of the walls."

A sudden, uncontrolled wall collapse may occur at the cathedral Church of the Transfiguration of the UOC in Odessa. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Odessa City Council.

It was noted that the cause of the collapse may be the unstable condition of one of the walls, resulting from a Russian missile strike.

The city council also stated that the dismantling of the hazardous section of the wall must begin as soon as possible.

"We need the assistance of clergy to work with parishioners. People come with open hearts, but it must be understood that there are hazardous sections that may pose a threat. Therefore, we will work together, observing all procedures," said Odessa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

As the UOJ reported, the UOC cathedral in Odessa was destroyed by a missile strike.
