At the general meeting, parishioners of St. George’s Church refused to transfer to the OCU and supported His Beatitude Onufry.

In Kiev, the community of St. George’s Church unanimously voted to stay in the bosom of the canonical Church. Video of the vote is posted on the official page of the temple on Facebook.

“The religious community unanimously supported the decision to stay in the bosom of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church and support its pastor, His Beatitude Onufry, Metropolitan of Kiev and All Ukraine, Primate of the UOC,” the message said.

As the UOJ reported, in the Volyn villages of Skobelka, Berestechko, Kutrov, Nichegovka, and Bronitsa, UOC parishioners prevent the "transfer" of their churches to the OCU.
