Should we resist, organize protests, retreat “into the woods,” or buy land plots for sustenance as some elders advise?

The news that Britain is introducing mandatory use of digital identification passed rather quietly in the media space. Yet this is precisely the step where, without an ID, a person becomes completely excluded from life. It is reported that the identifier will be a mandatory requirement for employment, renting housing, and soon — for access to healthcare, social services, tax records, and other government services. The English are protesting, but it will lead nowhere. The progress described in the Holy Scriptures can no longer be stopped.

In China, a social credit system has already been implemented, where a person’s behavior determines their wealth, housing, salary, and so on. And in Sweden, for several years now, thousands of people have been using a chip implanted under the skin between the thumb and index finger. It is used as an ID, a payment method, an electronic key, and more.

In Ukraine, there are Orthodox believers who have been fighting against identification codes for many years, yet at the same time, many of them calmly use bank cards, shop online, and make contactless payments via smartphones. The youth and middle-aged generations keep their documents in "Diia". We have quietly approached the point where a person without a phone or a bank account will find themselves outside of society and without means of subsistence.

Cash is still in use for now, but over the past few years, its usage has significantly declined. And there is no doubt that it won’t be long before it is completely phased out. Every kopeck spent, every step we take will be visible and traceable. And if someone acts outside the agenda (for example, belongs to the "wrong" denomination), there will be virtually no room to maneuver. Clearly, just as stated in the Revelation of John the Theologian: "no one will be able to buy or sell."

Should we resist, organize protests, retreat “into the woods,” or buy land plots for sustenance as some elders advise? It seems that everyone makes their own decision.

But if the Lord has allowed us and our descendants to live in such times, then it must be possible to keep His commandments even under these conditions. And the one who endures to the end will be saved.
