Archpriest Volodymyr Pekach visited military units and training grounds, heard confessions and administered Holy Communion to priest-servicemen.

The head of the department for cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine of the Rivne Diocese of the UOC, Archpriest Volodymyr Pekach, visited priests serving in the ranks of the AFU. This was reported by the diocese's press service.

During the visits, the priest provided spiritual care for the servicemen: he heard their confessions and administered the Holy Mysteries of Christ to them.

The diocese reports that as part of his ministry, Archpriest Volodymyr visits servicemen directly at their places of service — in military units and at training grounds. Such meetings provide an opportunity to support the soldiers with the word of prayer, spiritual consolation, and the Sacraments of the Church.

According to the Rivne press service, the priests serving in the ranks of the AFU continue their ministry, supporting their fellow soldiers and providing spiritual care for servicemen.

As the SPJ reported, UOC priest Ioan Polishchuk, conscripted into the AFU as a soldier, revealed in his Telegram channel "Not a Chaplain" the difficulties faced by clergy at the front, particularly under the conditions of the ban on chaplaincy for UOC priests.
