In the city of Bitola, thousands of believers took part in a march to defend the right of young people to live according to the norms of the Orthodox faith.

On June 21, 2026, a march involving thousands of people was held in the Macedonian city of Bitola in support of preserving the traditional family and the Christian upbringing of the younger generation. This was reported by Religija.mk.

The event, titled “A Real Pride Parade,” was held for the fifth time along the central Shirok Sokak street. Participants marched from Magnolia Square to the Officers’ House, expressing their support for the institution of marriage and family.

The organizers of the event emphasized that their goal is to defend the right of children to grow up in families with a father and a mother. During speeches at the rally, calls were made to raise future generations exclusively in the spirit of the Orthodox Christian faith and according to God’s commandments.

Activists noted that the march in Bitola represents a “real pride parade” in their people and faith, in contrast to the gay pride event that had previously been organized in Skopje.

As the UOJ reported, in Thessaloniki, believers held a rally in defense of the traditional family.
