Participants of the interreligious meeting discussed issues of chaplaincy service and cooperation under wartime conditions.
On June 12, 2026, on the occasion of the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha, a meeting of military chaplains from various religious organizations was held at the Al-Manar center in Kharkiv. This was reported by the "Congress of Muslims of Ukraine".
The event was attended by "clergy" of the OCU, in particular, the "bishop" of Kharkiv and Slobozhanshchyna, Mitrofan. The guests congratulated the Muslims of the region on the holiday, wishing the community peace, goodness, and God's blessing.
As part of the visit, an introductory tour was conducted for the chaplains, during which guests were told about the activities of the Muslim community of the Kharkiv region, as well as about the educational, social, and charitable projects of the center.
The parties paid special attention to issues of spiritual support for military personnel. The Chairman of the Directorate of Military Chaplaincy of Muslims of Ukraine, Khajimurad Putylin, familiarized those present with the specifics of Muslim chaplains' service at the front and their contribution to strengthening the morale of the defenders. The interaction of chaplains from various denominations was also a separate topic of discussion.

Representatives of various organizations emphasized the presence of common values, including love for one's neighbor, assistance to those in need, and spiritual care for soldiers.
